Driving Change in Cancer Navigation: EMI Advisors Joins the Challenge ????? Cancer is more than a medical condition—it’s a journey that requires personalized support at every step. Cancer navigation provides critical support to patients as they face one of life’s most challenging journeys. EMI Advisors LLC is proud to collaborate on the Transforming Cancer Navigation with Open Data & APIs Challenge, spearheaded by AcademyHealth Health, funded by the RWJF, and hosted on HeroX. This groundbreaking initiative focuses on leveraging clinical cancer research and health outcomes data to: ? Create inclusive and user-friendly solutions for cancer patient navigators. ? Equip navigators to work more efficiently and effectively. ? Enhance patient outcomes by: Reducing diagnosis-to-treatment times.? Supporting adherence to treatment plans.? Addressing social drivers of health, such as food, housing, and transportation needs. EMI will provide technical assistance in the areas of social care data integration and shared care planning to ensure solutions address these critical aspects of patient care. This challenge unites healthcare leaders, innovators, and advocates to build impactful solutions that improve care and empower patient navigators to create meaningful change. By enhancing patient navigation, we take significant steps toward improving care and ensuring that patients receive the support they deserve.
