LA set new record as 2nd biggest VC market in US for AI startups with $1.8B in 3Q24 ?? This was the total from 31 AI deals across the Greater LA region. Most came from mega round raised by Palmer Luckey’s Anduril Industries down in Costa Mesa. Let’s go #EmergingOC! ?? Figures from by research firm CB Insights. L.A. ranked as the second-biggest market for AI investments, up from the second quarter, in which it ranked behind Silicon Valley, New York and Boston.
