After closing on our newest aquisition in Mississippi, our teams are on site day one getting the project up and running! Exterior paint and truckloads of flooring happening day 1! Exited to see the end product here in a few months.

Excited to welcome three new key team members to our growing organization: - Angela Guzman (Human Resources Generalist) is heading up our HRIS processes, hiring, and overall employee engagement/satisfaction - Jose Ortega (Finance Manager) will oversee our investment reporting, KPI performance, overall company budgeting/forecasting - Parker Ridel (Supply Chain Manager) will oversee our warehouse operations, material flow to the various complexes, and cost reduction initiatives These roles will be key leaders in our company so we are grateful to be able to fill them with high-potential, experience team members!

Really excited to have two new members that joined our corporate team last week: - Tschanna Crenshaw (VP of Property Management) She comes to us with over 12 years of experience in leading high performing, large scale property management organizations with a key focus on improving processes, implementing site based KPIs, overall property efficiencies. Tschanna will lead all aspects of our rapidly growing property management organization - Will Campbell (Project Manager) Prior to joining us, Will spent the last 3 years overseeing numerous large-scale construction and multifamily projects. The projects included both multi-family renovations (clubhouse renovations, interior renovations, exterior CAPEX, etc) as well as commercial facilities for very large Fortune 500 organizations. Will's primary focus will be overseeing the numerous value-add project plans that we have going on at any given time. We are confident that both Tschanna and Will are going to be able to allow ECA to continue to grow without missing a beat!

Congratulations to Chelsey Jimenez who has taken over our newly created "Integrations" department as VP of Integrations. She was actually one of our first team members years back and has been instrumental in our ability to quickly execute business plans. The Integrations team for Emerald City Associates will be the main group in charge of our rapid value-add programs when we acquire new assets. Everything that falls into bringing in a property, the renovations, getting new hires up to speed on the "Emerald City Way", project management, vendor relationships, and lease ups will all be led by Chelsey.

We are grateful that we were not significantly impacted by Hurricane Helene (properties, employees, colleagues, etc.), but there are many people in the western part of North Carolina that are in significant distress. While this is only a minimal impact to what is actually needed in those areas, we were happy to be able to provide basic necessities to be delivered to the individuals that are stranded. Really pleased with our new, high quality decks at our 94-unit Beacon Pointe complex in Birmingham, AL. When we acquired these, many decks were in very tough shape - which presented both risk of tenant injury and an unappealing look. These new decks are made with Vinyl and Trex (composite boards) to ensure longevity and give a visually appealing looking to the complex. Its improvements like these that help to keep tenants happy and demand high. In just over a month, we have taken occupancy from ~60% (at purchase) to now being at ~89% (taking into account units leased/future move ins).

At The Reserve at Christopher Street (A beautiful 160-unit complex in Rainbow City, Alabama), our property manager, Monique, has been doing an AMAZING job keeping our tenants happy and satisfied. Recently, Monique received a nice floral arrangement from a happy tenant who had just moved in for her amazing work making it a smooth process. Any time there is management change, there are numerous bumps in the transition. However, its moments like these that make it all worth it! #happytenants #emeraldcityassociates #addingvaluetocommunities
