?? Wednesday Wellness Tip: Sunlight Rx As spring approaches, even a 5-minute dose of sunlight can work wonders for your wellbeing. Between the critical cases and chart notes, emergency physicians often miss natural light entirely. Try these micro-breaks: ?? Step outside during handoffs ?? Take one phone call in the ambulance bay ?? Park farther away for a quick walk in morning light ?? Stand by a window while dictating The vitamin D, circadian reset, and mood boost can enhance resilience during those marathon shifts. Your patients benefit when you've had your moment of fresh air. #EmergencyMedicine #PhysicianWellness

?? Weekly Wellness Tip In the chaos of the ED, try the "5-5-5" breathing technique between patients: 5 seconds inhaling, 5 seconds holding, 5 seconds exhaling. This 15-second reset can lower cortisol levels, improve focus, and create a mental boundary between cases. What small wellness practices have you incorporated into your shifts? #EmergencyMedicine #PhysicianWellness #EDLife
