We are a family-owned Indiana Medicaid waiver provider agency serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities from childhood to adulthood. This role involves traveling to conduct therapy sessions in clients’ homes or community-based facilities, such as gyms, parks, sporting events, or pools. As a Recreational Therapist, you will assess client needs using standardized assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, evaluate therapy activities, track progress with quarterly reports, and attend quarterly meetings while receiving monthly clinical supervision. You’ll work independently, manage your own schedule, and have full autonomy in selecting therapeutic interventions. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy or a related field, have certification or eligibility for certification to practice in Indiana, possess a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and insurance, and have experience with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is a 1099 contractor position and has an hourly rate of $50-$57.
