I've listened both to the Volts podcast and a webinar about the results, and would *strongly* everyone working on clean energy to check it out. We can't build the renewable energy ??????? we need to serve us all without bringing along rural communities ????????????????. Some of the many takeaways I'm mulling over... ?? We need loads of informed, credible local messengers to talk to their neighbors about clean energy. How will we find, train, and support these folks? ?? Rural folks generally support local clean energy! How can we highlight how existing projects are already benefiting them? ?? How can we design and build projects that keep as much benefits as possible within rural communities to avoid repeating histories of extraction?
