In my “newborn era” I was obsessed with baby sleep. I think I literally read the entire internet and followed every baby sleep influencer, in search of answers to questions like “why doesn’t my baby seem tired in the standard wake windows”? I don't know if the fertility tracker worked but the question isn't just why this specific project failed - it's why women's health innovations so often get sidelined at large companies. When women's health is treated as just a side project rather than a core business focus, we shouldn't be surprised when it gets cut when budgets are reviewed. This is exactly why at Midi Health, we believe women's healthcare needs dedicated companies with singular focus.
