Commencing countdown, engines on (five, four, three, two) Check ignition... The batteries work. The motors work. Drivetrain adapter comes today. (Hopefully?) Frame arrives next week. Making progress, how do you get everything together? A lot of perseverance and trial & error. Used parts -> sigh. Learning a lot tho. Can't do all and be everything to everyone at once. Starts with parts, ends with battery boxes & trailer frame to come soon.

Scheduling! Logistics! Amirite?

What a couple of weeks it's been. Good work team. After this week, the real work starts. Oh, the mountains we are aiming to climb! First reach the foothills. ELTRA is now taking delivery of the first full scale prototype components. We will start with building the very important battery boxes. Then on to suspension, chassis and much, much more! Why is ELTRA such a good idea? Because you only need to use it at the margins! When you're going just that little bit farther today, rent an ELTRA and you instantly have a longer range. Or turn any vehicle into a SMART hybrid, cutting up to 90% of your gas use and emissions and up to 90% electric power!

Hello world, we are still frantically trying to organize and keep momentum going forward with our new hires (2 new Mechatronics Engineers!) so we've been busy lately but please engage with us and help us understand our market! What do you want from ELTRA? Here's an anecdote from today -- CEO Brandon wanted to carpool to a school field trip to Sacramento from SF but it's ~90 miles and going there-and-back and having a bit of reserve for the stops in Sacramento is too chancy even with 200 miles of range - he'd need to split up from group and find a charger which isn't practical. HERE'S THE PERFECT USE CASE FOR ELTRA! Too bad the ELTRA prototype is not (yet) highway-certified -- but soon! soon! And CEO Brandon's EV manufacturer recently imposed a restriction on full range operation because it's too taxing on the battery! RANGE DECAYS WITH BATTERY AGE.
