LA has the chance to do something really incredible for new businesses which will rebuild the affected areas stronger than ever over the next few years. “..something desperately needs to change in the small business arena, particularly for California,” said Lee. “My prediction is if things are not changed in a very, very short period of time,... you’re gonna start seeing a lot more chains rather than new, fresh, mom-and-pop and small business ideas come to fruition. The Timeless Legacy Collection captures the country’s heritage and traditions in scents like Hanok, a symphony of florals and woods, and Jang, a smoky fragrance reminiscent of whiskey. “Elorea makes such beautiful scents. I was excited to try this new collection. The Zoe Report asked a collective of?Asian American Pacific Islander?fragrance brand founders for their definition of home, and how they funneled those complex and often conflicting interpretations into scent form. "My mom was an amazing cook and Korean cooking revolves around jangs and fermentation, so our kitchen was always filled with unique smells — kimchi, fermented soybeans, soy sauce, you name it.
