    Why Call Tracking Holds the Power To Success These days, we track everything. From our heart health and REM cycles to investment portfolios and battery life of our cars. I am an avid tracker and use devices like my Apple Watch to keep an eye on everything from my daily workouts to the latest NHL stats. (Go Avalanche!)     The eLocal team wrapped up another successful Affiliate Summit West conference. Our best one yet (that’s saying something considering eLocal has attended these for over a decade!). At over 7,000 attendees “ASW” continues to be the pilgrimage of lead generation and affiliate professionals and our team made the most of our time there.? We met with over 40 eLocal partners who directly support our efforts to connect customers in need with service providers who can help. Several partnerships go back years and speak to the exceptional nature of our relationship with our affiliates. We also met with dozens of new prospects, introducing them to what makes eLocal special and learning more about how we can work together successfully. We learned quite a bit this year, and as always, the world of affiliate marketing continues to evolve. Key insights from ASW:? - AI will be an acceleration tool. There are some very intelligent ways AI is being deployed in the performance marketing space - a relief from the headlines calling out the very unintelligent ways AI is being utilized. AI-driven personalization was one theme, along with AI-powered analytics. eLocal is already employing AI strategically as a tool for our people to maximize their efforts and the industry is doing the same.? - Google’s SEO and SERP experiences are evolving quickly. As updates occur at a higher frequency, marketers must navigate these changes equally fast to minimize impact and stay ahead of competitors. - Quality is key. ASW was particularly impactful this year in large part because of the pending TCPA 1:1 consent requirement, which many feared could deliver a devastating blow to several form-lead-specific companies in the industry. ?Days before ASW kicked off, the ruling was vacated –?for a lot of very technical legal reasons that you don’t want to hear me try to get into now (there’s a reason I’m not a lawyer!). So, the mood of the show was much lighter than expected and the enduring optimism of the ASW crowd was on full display. ?eLocal is a?strong proponent and enforcer of consumer consent when it comes to generating our leads and we welcome?robust TCPA compliance requirements. - Building relationships that last. Perhaps the biggest takeaway from this year is that building strong, in-person relationships with our affiliates and our prospects is the golden path to maintaining a strong affiliate network. In today’s information age, anyone can build a deck and make a pitch with just the click of a button. But being able to shake hands, share stories, and empathize with our shared successes and struggles is an invaluable part of the process. We look forward to this summit every year and are already in planning mode for 2026. I can’t thank our team enough for their hard work at ASW and for the help from our marketing and creative departments.
