During Advanced Energy Group Puerto Rico Energy Week, experts underscored the importance of designing microgrids tailored to Puerto Rico’s unique energy landscape. Roberto Muniz, PE, President of StarBlue Solutions LLC and an ELM MicroGrid preferred partner, spoke with El Nuevo Día about the need for customized microgrid solutions. While microgrids provide flexibility, their integration into Puerto Rico’s electrical grid must be carefully planned to maximize benefits and minimize challenges.
