It was a privilege to welcome both Representative Glenn Thompson and Mike Kelly to our facilities. They explored how we contribute to @USNavy aircraft carriers and amphibious warships, highlighting our impact on national defense. We deeply appreciate Rep. Thompson and Mike Kelly and their staff's steadfast commitment to supporting Pennsylvania’s vital industrial base for these naval vessels. #ellwoodnationalforge #usnavy #aircraft #madeinamerica #makingthingsthatmatter #makingadifference

Veterans Day officially started on November 11, 1926 with these words in Presidential Proclamation 3071: NOW, THEREFORE, I, DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER, President of the United States of America, do herby call upon all of our citizens to observe Thursday, November 11, 1954, as Veterans Day. Meet Ethan Reed! Ethan was raised in Spartansburg, PA and graduated high school in 2008. He was practically born into machining, as he began working at his family owned machine shop at the age of 15. After graduation he went on to become a CNC Machinist at Composiflex for nearly 5 years prior to joining the ELLWOOD team in 2013. Ethan is instrumental in running CNC mills and lathes, producing quality parts for our land based, oil and gas and rotor product lines. Ethan still resides in Spartansburg with his wife, Amanda, and three sons; Eli, Stanley, and Bishop. When the opportunity for a little free time presents itself, Ethan enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, and camping. Thank you for your dedication to ENF, Ethan!
