This week, representatives from Ellwood Group and North American Forgemasters visited Missouri S&T, gaining valuable insights into the college's history and programs through a campus tour and subsequent meetings. Metallurgical students benefited from a lunch and learn session, acquiring insight into Ellwood Group's history and offerings. Calum Learn, NAF Metallurgy Manager and Missouri S&T alumnus, shared his educational background and career path with NAF.

Yesterday, in partnership with Lawrence County School-To-Work, Inc., we hosted our 19th annual High School Engineering Day at our New Castle campus. Over 30 students from area high schools visited the ELLWOOD location to learn about engineering careers, tour the New Castle campus, and more. The event is designed to be both fun and educational as the students had the opportunity to witness the state-of-the-art processes as well as material testing and machining at ELLWOOD Quality Steels, ELLWOOD City Forge New Castle and North American Forgemasters. The students were selected by their respective schools to attend the event because they have an interest in engineering or a related career field. Participating juniors and seniors started their day with a 10 a.m. welcome from ELLWOOD executives, followed by a tour of the ELLWOOD campus, lunch, and a panel discussion where students had the chance to hear from company experts and take part in a Q&A.
