The Arab Golf Federation, comprising of 17 national federations, has launched the Arab Golf Series (AGS), set to roll out through 2025 to drive the sport's growth in the region. The Series will be a new unified schedule of tournaments in the region with an official independent ranking system, kicking off at the #QatarOpen. The AGS aims to enhance the golf ecosystem in the Arab world by enhancing competition and providing emerging local talent with a clear development pathway towards professional success. Arab golfers will also have access to critical scholarships through the Arab Golf Federation's expansive programs. The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) and Euroleague Basketball have announced a new global partnership, naming ‘Experience Abu Dhabi’ the official tourism and travel destination of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and BKT EuroCup for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.? Through the partnership, ‘Experience Abu Dhabi’ will serve as the official tourism and travel destination for the EuroLeague and EuroCup, receiving prominent brand presence across EuroLeague and EuroCup games, including in-arena signage, live broadcasts and digital platforms, amplifying Abu Dhabi’s global visibility. The new announcement follows an agreement between Euroleague Basketball and DCT Abu Dhabi to host the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, from May 23-25, 2025. She brings a wealth of industry experience from her previous role at the International Paralympic Committee and other sports federations. 1. Why ELLVEE? First and foremost, I've always loved being in the sports industry. The industry is dynamic and full of passionate individuals driven by their pure love for sports and its impact. At ELLVEE, it's especially rewarding to take part in the strategic advisory work for these sports leaders and events. I also had the opportunity to gain more insight into the ambitions of the GCC region during my time at the FIFA Masters and was eager to be a part of such exciting projects. Most importantly, ELLVEE has an outstanding reputation of having really great people and culture, so I knew this was where I wanted to grow and contribute! 2. What has been your most memorable moment at ELLVEE so far? The most memorable moment would be the ELLVEE Secret Santa event we had altogether at the end of year. It was a nice family-like moment where we made wish lists for our secret santas and had fun exchanging gifts. We all shared a good laugh over some of the amusing and unexpected things people had put down on their wish lists. 3. When not at work, what would we find you doing? You will most likely find me in the pool for a swim or at the gym to balance out all the delicious baklavas I've been enjoying since arriving here. I’m also a fan of attending local football games and have been pleasantly surprised by the growing football scene in the UAE. I also recently started taking golf lessons in the beautiful Dubai winter weather and been enjoying this dangerously addictive sport.?Outside of sports, I love cooking and discovering the best restaurants in the area.
