District-wide, our music educators work incredibly hard to create a fun, dynamic, and enriching experience for all students. In the spring semester, Harold Walt at Roosevelt STEAM Academy runs the “Jammin’ With A Professional” program, which welcomes local professionals from a wide variety of fields to discuss their careers and perform drum music with students. This amazing program achieves multiple goals of our #ElkhartPromise, by helping students prepare for their career and engaging with the community. Elkhart Community Schools is proud to announce the hiring of Dr. Larry A. Huff as Elkhart Community Schools new superintendent. Dr. Huff will assume the role beginning March 1st, 2024.
