Meet our new Executive Director Scott Evans, celebrate all our accomplishments that you have made possible, and learn about the future of the Eliot School. This is a fantastic opportunity to get to know our leadership and other community members a bit better. We are thrilled to share that Director of Development & Communications Angela Lett has been accepted into the Boston’s Future Leaders Program, Class of 2025 presented by Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce and their academic partner Harvard Business School. BFL provides professionals with a socially conscious and civically engaged leadership toolkit to lead our city and region into a better tomorrow! New opportunity to work with us alert! Our summer vacation programs have been expanding, and with them, our team will be expanding too to ensure our programs run smoothly and our students have their best summer yet. The Summer Vacation Programs Coordinator will work full-time in person at our Schoolhouse from June 23 to August 15 while our Summer Program for Children is in session. This position will also have part-time onboarding and offboarding periods when flexible scheduling and remote work will be possible. The main role of this position is to ensure that all summer programs run smoothly and safely for teaching staff and youth participants. Overall, they will help create a fun, welcoming, and safe program environment that adheres to the highest standards for culturally competent art education. We're continuing to staff up for the summer, and now we're not just hiring adults! Along with our previously posted summer jobs, we're looking for Teen Program Aides to assist with our Summer Program for Children from June 27–August 15, 2025. We are looking for Boston high school students who can commit to at least two weeks of work during the above-listed time period, who are passionate about working with young people, and who have experience or interest in woodworking, drawing, painting, fiber arts, sewing, mixed media, and/or sculpture. Do you love art and kids and creating art with kids? If so, we have not just one or two, but four fantastic part-time opportunities for you to join us in sharing all kinds of art with creative youth! We're expanding our school partnerships! So we're looking for Lead Teachers and Teaching Assistants who are available to join us for the rest of the school year and are interested in spending up to 24 hours/week empowering Boston Public School students to express themselves creatively through classes in woodworking and visual arts. Then we're getting ready for summer when we are also looking for Lead Teachers (from June 26-August 15) and Teaching Assistants (from June 16-August 15) to lead our week-long youth summer programs. This summer, we are offering a new Summer Studios program for youth ages 9-17 as well as our beloved Summer Program for Children for youth ages 6-12.
