Thanks to incredible team members like Food Service Director Darell Jamison (right), Assistant Food Service Director Ursula Wynn (left), and outstanding partners like Sergeant Anthony Miranda (center), our Summit kitchen staff ensures all dining and nutritional needs are met not only for thousands of inmates every day, but also for the deputies and staff on site.

Spotlight On Our Teams: Feeding the Houston Community Across the country, our teams at TRIO Community Meals are working tirelessly to ensure members of their communities receive the meals they need every day. Today, we are honored to highlight our team at Pasadena Kitchen in Houston, Texas. Every day, this group of remarkable team members prepares up to 8,000 meals for their clients in Houston and the surrounding area. But the most amazing part of this group is the camaraderie and longevity they have shown. Nearly every team member has been with us for more than 10 years, led by their manager, Mario Quiroz, and assistant manager, James Gentry Jr. Mario (left) and James (right) have been at the Pasadena Kitchen since the day it opened 37 years ago, hired within 1 week of each other! Through the decades, Mario and James have been the consistent, driving force behind this inspirational team. We are so proud to have this incredible team as part of Elior North America!?

Spotlight on Our Teams: ?? Recognizing American Heart Month ?? February marked the annual arrival of American Heart Month, and all across our segments at Elior North America, our teams hosted informative and delicious events. From nutrition presentations, sampling tables, food demos, and more, educating on heart health through food was at the forefront. At Colorado State University – Pueblo, the Aladdin Campus Dining staff hosted a table sampling event highlighted by a spectacular loaded pinto burrito bowl with our corporate wellness dietitian, Kaylie Brand. Our K-12 by Elior teams at Responsive Education Solutions and the School of Science and Technology in San Antonio, had rave reviews from students for their delicious broccoli stir fry and Mediterranean flatbread dish. Thank you to Food Service Director Amber Alvarado and Corey Johnson, Assistant Food Service Director Melissa Reyes, and District Manager Natasha Johnson for your work on these events. The teams at Corporate Chefs treated their guests to spectacular dishes all month long. The staff at the South Carolina Port Authority donned bold red aprons to raise awareness, while Chef Manager Kassidy Grey and Registered Dietitian Melissa Ferris hosted a delicious hearth health tasting table. Thanks to all our team members for your dedication to serving and educating on healthy and delicious food for your students, customers, and patients!

Spotlight on Our Teams: Lexington Independents Our teams at Lexington Independents are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure their students have a great dining experience. That dedication recently shined at the Arkansas School of Math & Science after they were hit with a snowstorm. In response, several of our spectacular team members stayed at the school to ensure these students were fed the usual delicious meals they have come to expect from our staff. Thank you to Food Service Director Terry Bryant, Chef Devin Smith, Teresa Hall, Chris Slunt, and Ashley Harrell for your hard work and selflessness to serve your students. Spotlight on Our Teams: Valentine’s Day Celebrations Love was in the air last week, with special Valentine’s Day events happening at many of our segments at Elior North America. The Aladdin Campus Dining team at Capital University provided the chance for students to enjoy an unforgettable Valentine's Day feast with a formal culinary event. Students made reservations to enjoy a four-course meal put on by Food Service Director Liz Cuerbo, Cook Supervisor Keith Flood, and Executive Chef Stephen Meyer. Meanwhile at Kennedy Catholic High School, the Lexington Independents team prepared home-made cupcakes, and hand-dipped chocolate-covered strawberries, courtesy of Food Service Director Jodie Walker and her team. Thank you to all of our team members for going above and beyond to create memorable experiences for your students, patients, residents, and more.

Spotlight on Our Teams: Creating Memorable Experiences for the Big Game ?? Segments across Elior North America got in the competitive spirit for the Big Game this past weekend, hosting several exciting events for their students and clients. The Cura Hospitality team at Holy Redeemer Health Systems in Philadelphia celebrated a hometown victory with a festive dining experience that featured exciting giveaways! Meanwhile, the K-12 by Elior team at School City of East Chicago celebrated with student-favorite menu items and interactive coloring sheets for students. Thank you to all of our team members for elevating the experience for your residents and students every day!
