According to the National Alliance to End Homelessness, the latest data shows a record-high number of people experiencing homelessness in the United States in 2023, with a 12.1 percent increase compared to the previous year. This program provides an onsite food pantry, benefiting both shelter residents and the wider community, serving approximately 50 to 100 families or women every week. Meet Rebeka Sultana, Co-Founder of the Elias & Sultana Foundation! ? E&S holds significant importance for Rebeka, as it embodies a cherished aspect of her family's heritage. She feels blessed to have helped build a successful business, yet believes it is more important to be known for supporting those less fortunate. From her upbringing in Bangladesh, Rebeka had a goal to support others, which was fulfilled with the creation of the E&S Foundation. ? Raised in a household where giving back is customary, Rebeka recognizes the value instilled by her parents and hopes to pass this on to her children as well.
