Celebrating 30+ Years of Dedication: Pearl Naranjo’s Journey! For over three decades, Pearl Naranjo has been a valued member of our team, bringing passion, dedication, and an infectious smile to everyone she works with. Her journey began in 1994 at Winter & Bain, where she started as a receptionist. Over the years, she wore many hats and grew into roles in Inside Sales, Payroll, and Purchasing. In 2017, she became part of the ERM family, continuing to make a lasting impact on colleagues and clients alike with her hard work and positive spirit. Outside of work, Pearl is always chasing adventure—whether it’s tackling the sand dunes of Pismo Beach in her off-road vehicle or spending cherished moments with her grandchildren, Maddy and Mason. Today, we celebrate the women who are breaking barriers and making a lasting impact in our industry. One of those women is Jennifer Cho, a leader in the elevator industry whose career is defined by resilience and ambition. Jen’s path hasn’t been a straight line—it’s been a journey of growth, change, and determination. She started at ERM as a sales assistant in 1997, steadily building her career until she transitioned into the software industry. There, she took on new challenges, moving from office manager to contract manager while also earning her bachelor’s degree in accounting during the Covid lockdown. After more than a decade away, she returned to ERM and now leads as general manager. Succeeding in male-dominated industries hasn’t always been easy, but Jen has navigated every twist and turn with persistence and drive. More importantly, she’s found inspiration in the strong women around her—mentors, colleagues, and family who have shown her that challenges are meant to be overcome. Her perspective? Success isn’t just about individual effort—it’s about lifting others up, learning from those who came before, and proving that with the right mindset, no goal is out of reach. As part of our Group Social Calendar, for this quarter we will be focusing on International Women’s Day which falls on 8th March 2025. Across our businesses we will be raising awareness, and much needed monies for the education of disadvantaged girls. We want to ensure that the next generation of girls from developing countries have the education and are afforded the opportunities for career path introductions and ongoing development, to have a rewarding and enriching working life. It is fundamental to our ethos at Dewhurst Group.?
