Here’s a general breakdown: --Per Square Foot: Many painters charge $3 to $10 per square foot, which includes prepping, priming, and painting. --Per Linear Foot: Some charge by linear feet, which can range from $30 to $60 per linear foot for cabinet faces. --By Number of Cabinets: Prices often range between $100 and $250 per cabinet for basic work, and it can increase to $300–$400 for more detailed work, like painting intricate trim. --Labor and Materials: If charging hourly, painters may ask between $20 and $50 per hour, plus the cost of materials, which could add $200 to $600 or more depending on the quality of the paint. Many property managers and property management companies hire general contractors for any and all construction-related endeavors, regardless of the difficulty, complexity, or timeline of the work needed. This could be out of routine, a lack of knowledge, or because it's convenient to reduce the number of vendors to communicate with and defer all responsibility to one vendor.
