Nature heals in ways words cannot. ???? Grief is heavy, but the earth knows how to hold it. The sun warms. The wind whispers. The trees stand steady, reminding you that even in loss, life continues. Take a walk. Breathe deep. Let the sky hold your sorrow and the ground steady your heart. Healing doesn’t mean forgetting—it means finding moments of peace, one step at a time. #HealingInNature #GriefJourney #OneBreathAtATime

Grief is a journey, and healing isn’t a straight path—it’s full of twists, turns, setbacks, and unexpected waves. And that’s okay as well as normal. If today is hard, keep going. If today is soft, embrace it. #GriefJourney #HealingIsNotLinear #OneDayAtATime

At Ele's Place it is important to us that we provide our participants with a safe and comfortable place to heal. Our middle school and high school group room chairs were well-loved for many years, but had become quite worn and needed to be replaced. We are so thankful to Jackson for providing us with a grant to replace the furniture, and to Jim Baker and the team at Innovare for providing us with these beautiful and comfortable chairs and making sure they fit in our budget. We ?? our community. #ElesPlaceCapitalRegion #ThankYouThursday #HealingHappensHere #CommunitySupport

Plastic baggies, dish soap, paper towel...oh my! While these items might not seem exciting, we were thrilled to receive countless donations from our wish list through the holiday season! In 2025, we remain dedicated to providing grief support to children, teens, and families at no cost...and every donation helps us continue our mission. #ElesPlaceCapitalRegion #GriefSupport

Thank you Lindsey Whissel Fenton for posting this helpful information...
Discussing grief and the holidays is tricky. It can contribute to the false narrative that grief follows some sort of predictable path. For some, the winter holiday season can activate grief. For others, these seemingly fraught weeks might pass without any major upticks in emotion—only for a random Wednesday in March to bring an unexpected wave of feeling. Still, the winter holiday season offers a unique moment to explore the delicate balance of navigating social spaces while carrying grief. While every situation is unique, this blog post I wrote for Penn State Outreach offers some thoughtful ways to include your grieving person in social gatherings while honoring their grief experience: https://lnkd.in/ebHH3WDD #grief #griefawareness #griefandloss #griefsupport #griefliteracy #thanatology #holidays #holidays2024 #eq #empathy #family #friends
