Our staff and our volunteers work tirelessly to help refugee families to embrace their independence and succeed in their new homes. Together, we can work towards a brighter future for refugees and immigrants in the United States!

Change can be overwhelming, here are some mindfulness practices to help relieve stress and calm your mind and body. Check them out below: 1) Movement & Activity: Go on walks with friends, do some yoga, or dance to your favorite songs 2) Breathing Exercise: Try box breathing, image tracing a box with your breath, inhaling for four seconds, holding your breath for four second, exhaling for four seconds, and holding your breath again for four seconds, then repeating as many times as you like. 3) Expression & Reflection: Express and process your emotions through journaling, art, or talking to a trusted person. #Mindfulness #Yoga #WomensHealth #Family #Calm #Breathwork #Practice
