Go spend time with your customers. Learn how to be helpful. If you’re in high-growth B2B tech, spending quality time with customers isn’t optional—it’s essential. As a byproduct of working with our clients' customers, here’s what we’ve learned: ? Customers surface pain points the marketing team (and the product team) didn’t even know existed. ? Customers valued solutions nobody was emphasizing. ? Spending time with them builds trust—trust that drives retention. A business is only as valuable as its ability to help alleviate pain for your customers, which means it's essential to know them very well.

Most customer videos are boring. Here’s why: - Boring videos are built for information and leave out emotion. - Boring videos highlight features and leave out personal stories. - Boring videos are "me-centric" and leave out the customer. Here’s the fix: ? Center the customer—let their challenges and wins take center stage. ? Create an emotional arc—what do you want viewers to feel? ? Show the transformation your product enabled. ? Get specific—a memorable story beats a bland pitch every time. Focus on emotion. PS - feel free to check out some of our work: https://lnkd.in/gQpZereU

This is a classic storytelling challenge our team likes solving… A SaaS solution often has these three characteristics:? 1) It is a complex product, which can make it difficult to understand? 2) It is new and disruptive, which often threatens the status quo 3) At first glance, it can seem uninteresting to a buyer Here’s one customer saying exactly that in an strategy call we recently hosted: “XXX is a really tough product to understand… it's a new concept. We're not selling shoes. Like… we're selling software that deals with different payment accounts and different banking and that can get boring to some people. So that makes it even harder. So, how do you make that interesting?” As marketers, your job is to make it interesting… or at the very least, easier to understand. So… how DO you make that interesting?? Well, like SaaS solutions, the answer to that too can be complicated ?? But, here’s a guide our team put together to help!?
