Elements all in for Sustainable Data! ?? In this past month, we had the chance to collaborate with Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data (funded and hosted by United Nations Foundation) on their Capacity Accelerator Network (CAN) program, bringing in technical expertise and insights to allow for the seamless Data Science assessment of 3,000+ candidates! The CAN program is dedicated to building a robust data ecosystem that empowers communities and drives impactful solutions for sustainable development. The initiative's primary objective is to build data capacity by strengthening the skills and capabilities of data professionals, enabling them to tackle pressing climate, environment, and health challenges. Within this program, Elements streamlined the talent acquisition process for the CAN Data Science Fellowship project. Our standardized assessments allowed to compare candidates on a consistent framework. With objective data from the assessments, decision-makers made informed choices with minimal bias to enhance the overall quality of the cohort. Overall, the assessments helped gauge participants’ potential for growth and adaptability, ensuring that organizations not only cultivated the right talent but also built strong and capable teams for the future.
