Today, The Satell Institute traveled to the #National #Capital #Region for a highly curated, invitation-only roundtable with top executive leaders from businesses, foundations, and non-profits. I wanted to give a huge thank you to Cecilia Hodges and the team at M&T Bank for welcoming us! There's an excitement brewing along the Beltway and accross the #DMV – as a new spirit of collaboration has arisen. Well-thought-out analytics rooted in subject matter expertise and business reality is key to breaking down the barriers to vehicle electrification. It is this belief that propelled me to found ElectroTempo, Inc. out of rigorous research. Glad to see some of the foundational work being recognized through peer review. "The case study showed that, while battery electric trucks cannot replace entire diesel fleets yet, they are technologically and economically feasible for a portion of drayage operations. This practice will facilitate fleet electrification, particularly heavy-duty, by tackling major roadblocks and providing insight into the numerous unknown possibilities"
