Over our 45+ year history, Electrochem has largely focused on three core markets: Energy, Military, and Environmental. “We have developed a strong reputation within these markets and continue to be the go-to provider of non-rechargeable power solutions when failure is not an option,” said Electrochem VP-GM Khristine Carroll during a recent call. “As our customers continue to grow their geographic and market segment reach, as well as expand the breadth of their technologies, we remain dedicated to providing the highest levels of support through our expanded value-add services and technology roadmap initiatives.” These comments have been used as a guide as we continued to search for the right individuals to join our growing commercial team. With this vision in mind, Electrochem identified Darrin Druzbik as a key addition to our sales team. Darrin recently joined Electrochem as a Business Development Manager. He is a seasoned sales executive with extensive international and domestic sales & marketing experience across a diverse group of OEM markets. Darrin has also had proven success managing global strategic accounts and associated global supply chains, specifically within the aerospace, defense, datacom, telecom, and solid-state lighting markets. “I am thrilled to join this talented team at Electrochem and bring my global experience in business development and sales to the energy, environmental and defense markets,” noted Darrin. “I am passionate about forging long term relationships with my customers and assisting them with their new product development requirements as they relate to battery systems.”

In response to increased demand for Electrochem products from both new and existing customers, Electrochem has chosen to expand and enhance our commercial organization. “For over 40 years Electrochem has been recognized as the leading provider of comprehensive high quality power solutions within the markets we serve,” noted Khristine Carroll, Electrochem VP-GM. “As our customers continue to innovate and expand their technology-based initiatives, we too must adapt to better support their evolving product and market needs, with the goal of becoming a more comprehensive strategic partner. Maintaining a customer centric approach to design, development, and functional optimization will be a key component to achieving this goal.” Towards this end, Electrochem has hired Rob Betzold as Senior Business Development Manager. Rob is a dynamic and results-oriented sales professional with a proven track record of enhancing industry based strategic partnerships, expanding revenue opportunities, and proactively positioning customers for market-based success. Rob joins the team with 20 years of experience in leading strategic initiatives in business development, marketing, project management, and sales. “I am humbled by the opportunity to work and learn at such an amazing and well-respected organization,” says Rob. “This is an exciting challenge and I promise to bring everything within my capabilities towards propelling Electrochem to further success!”

Ultralife Corporation has signed a stock purchase agreement to acquire all outstanding shares of Electrochem Solutions, including its state-of-the-art ISO certified technology and manufacturing facility, from Integer Holdings Corporation. The transaction is expected to close by the end of October. “In joining Ultralife Corporation, we will be able to enhance our product offerings, and customer-based support through a wider range of products and services, while continuing to focus on technology enhancements and advancements to innovation," said Khristine Carroll, General Manager of Electrochem Solutions. "We are thrilled to have found a partner that shares our operating philosophy and strong commitment to both our associates as well as our valued customers."

Electrochem is proud to announce the recent patent award of an innovative new hybrid cell design specifically created to support the next generation of downhole tool designs used in oil exploration and drilling. This award reflects our continued commitment to advancing technologies in battery design and adjacent services, in support of the customers and industries we partner with . This unique battery configuration provides a means to deliver increased energy and power while maintaining superior shock and vibration capabilities.
