After doing #ROCKWELL PLCs for a longer time now, we finally got some tests for the #SIEMENS PLCs running #PROFINET and #PROFIsafe. Until yesterday, I thought that 4ms was a good result on my tests recently at an automotive. But these guys here were just shredding it. They went down to 0.5ms with their S7-1500! And with lots of PN participants, including an HMI and all, they had a stable 2ms connection with #PROFINET. Through three concrete walls. In a basement. Next to a high voltage transformer. Plug&Play. [ add mic drop gesture here ;) ] Hit me up for details, we might do a longer story about it soon
