  • Phase one of EMA’s validation campaign using Ansys EMC Plus for electronics simulation has just wrapped up! Testing included comparing lab measurements and simulation results for radiated susceptibility of an electronic device at the NIAR certification lab. A good correlation between both data sets demonstrates greater confidence in the use of simulation. This campaign employed a patch antenna and tested it under various conditions, including in an enclosure, and with cables connected. How well did EMC Plus compare to physical measurements? Take a closer look at the results in our latest blog “Validating Radiated Susceptibility between Measurement and Ansys EMC Plus” by clicking here- https://lnkd.in/e4CR2sjx Make sure to watch the video below to learn more about the campaign. #EMA #Ansys #EMCPlus #EMC #radiatedsusceptibility #simulation #measurement

  • Thin layer materials “stackups” are now available in Ansys EMC Plus! Users can now assign surfaces to contain multiple thin layers in an effective surface. This includes an arbitrary number of thin layers of varying thickness, permittivity, and conductivity. This feature was released in R1 2025 in conjunction with the conformal boundary approximation capability. Together, they are key to solving radome applications and antenna systems with higher fidelity than in the past. The new solver algorithm is accurate without using as many computational cells.
