Today, we honor five iconic trailblazers whose legacies continue to inspire: ?? Harriet Tubman – The fearless conductor of the Underground Railroad, leading hundreds to freedom. ?? Sojourner Truth – A powerful abolitionist and women’s rights advocate, demanding justice for all. ?? Rosa Parks – The “Mother of the Civil Rights Movement,” sparking change with her bold stand against segregation. ?? Madam C.J. Walker – America’s first self-made female millionaire, revolutionizing the beauty industry and empowering Black entrepreneurs. ?? Shirley Chisholm – The first Black woman elected to Congress and the first to run for U.S. President, championing equality and representation. Turner brings extensive experience advising Boards, corporate executives, and government leaders on legal matters, corporate governance, public policy, global risk management, and strategic planning. Turner started her legal career in 1985 as a judicial law clerk to William C. Pryor, Chief Judge, D.C.
