Elation ARTISTE MONET & PROTEUS BRUTUS Light Up Megan Thee Stallion’s “Hot Girl Summer Tour” The Playground handled design and creative direction as one of the year’s hottest touring shows. The lighting design featured 92 Elation ARTISTE MONET profile moving heads, alongside six PROTEUS BRUTUS wash FX fixtures, creating a dynamic and immersive environment for Megan’s powerful stage presence and accompanying dancers. Production designer Trevor Ahlstrand adds, “The MONETs gave us everything we needed—they were not only key lights but effect lights too. With their fantastic color mixing and output, we could achieve fully saturated colors, from fiery reds to soft, dichroic hues, helping us tell the story of transformation that runs through the show.” #elationlighting #meganthestallion #lightingdesign #stagelighting

Kille Knobel Design for Pearl Jam “Dark Matter” Tour Strikes a Perfect Balance with Elation's KL PANEL XL and PROTEUS MAXIMUS. Legendary band Pearl Jam embarked on their highly anticipated “Dark Matter” world tour in May, sharing their introspective brand of rock with audiences across North America and Europe before heading to New Zealand and Australia in November. The show brings video projection to the forefront with soft, organic visuals and minimalist lighting. When choosing fixtures for the tour earlier this year, lighting vendor Upstaging hosted a fixture shootout in Los Angeles for the designer, where she ultimately selected the KL PANEL XL and PROTEUS MAXIMUS as part of a larger lighting package. The fixtures were essential in creating the desired balance between video projection and lighting, two visual components that trade prominence throughout the show. #elationlighting #stagelighting #pearljam #darkmattertour
