??On the heels of the Concordia Americas Summit, the diverse and global?team?of our parent organization, Libra Group,?traveled across the globe from 3 continents, including New York, DC, London, Athens, Buenos Aires, Bogotá, and more for our first Annual Gathering in Miami, Florida! Our first meetup since COVID, across several days, the team heard from Libra Group #leadership, including reflecting back on all of the challenges and innovative thinking from the last 20 years. Since 2003, Libra Group?has grown to encompass 20 independently operating businesses, which in turn, have assets and operations in nearly 60 countries across 6 diverse sectors. ?? ???During the gathering, we heard from Executive Chairman George Logothetis on Libra’s origin story and George’s history from becoming the CEO of our original subsidiary Lomar Shipping at the age of 19. ?? ?? Vice Chairman Nicholas Logothetis held a town hall to discuss where the Group is headed in the coming years and CEO Manos Kouligkas shared his vision for Libra Group’s growth strategy and how we can maintain our unique culture and values system as we continue to expand. ?? ?? Additionally, Rosanna Mortoglou, CEO of our sister organization and independent 501(c)(c3), Libra Philanthropies, highlighted the impactful work the organization is working to achieve through a mission of redefining #philanthropy to tackle unresolved social needs around the world. ? ?? Lastly, we were honored to welcome special guest Lord Andrew Roberts (Baron Roberts of Belgravia), an English historian, journalist, and member of the House of Lords, who shared insightful leadership lessons from historical world leaders like Winston Churchill and Napoleon Bonaparte. ?? ?? ?? The days ended with team-building dinners and events along the water with stunning sunsets. We’re extremely grateful for this time together as a team and we are counting down the days until the next all-staff gathering! Onwards and upwards!
