? Meet Emily! ? This month, we’re shining a light on Emily, one of our incredible home visitors! Emily joined our team in June, and in just a few short months, she’s already making a BIG impact in our community. Her compassion and kindness have made families feel heard and enthusiastic about being a part of our program. Currently, she’s working with a family and their child, who is nonverbal. The progress has been nothing short of amazing—Emily’s dedication has helped the family work with their child to promote that language development. Now, every time Emily visits, the child greets her at the door and says, “Hi Teacher!” ???? Emily was gearing up for our Read Across America Event where all families will be receiving a book. As Dr. Seuss once said, "You're never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read to a child." ???? ? Meet Aracely! ? We’re kicking off a special series to shine a light on the amazing home visitors who are making a big difference in our community. First up is the incredible Aracely, who is currently serving our rural families with dedication and heart in our THV-HIPPY Program. One of the recent activities Aracely led was the "Little Learner, I Like It When" activity, where children and parents read a story together and then get creative decorating a penguin. After the fun, the child gets to decide who to gift the penguin to. One child chose to give their penguin to Aracely because… “she likes her.” ??
