The team circled up last week at the Green Acres solar project site in Basset VA to look at all the progress being made. A lot of work has been completed on the civil side to ensure erosion, sediment control and storm water features are built as spec’d. Being out in the field, seeing the site with our partners opens our eyes to the differences between trades and industries. We may all have a different approaches to the various tasks that need to be completed, but it’s nice to know that all our collective goals still align with successful timely completion of a quality PV array. It’s a deceptively complex project but luckily we had plenty of good help from our partners and team members who took time to walk the site, compare the CAD design with reality, and share their perspectives on how we can all make this process even better the next time. #eitrifoundry #solarproject #solarinvirginia #greenacres

Many gracious thanks to the good folks at Planktown Hardware for hosting the Future Farmers of America event for Plymouth High School! Farming is one of the oldest forms of entrepreneurship. Both deal with planning, resource and risk management and both require creative problem solving.
