In 2023, EV Loader, a forward-thinking startup from #Greece, joined our GreenScale programme for EU startups looking to penetrate the US East Coast, with a goal to drive sustainable change in the world of #electric_vehicles, on a global scale. ? Fast forward to 2024, and that ambition became a reality. In partnership with Aries Power Inc., EVLoader successfully launched EV charging stations in new residential and office buildings in Albany, New York, while still keeping their HQ in Greece. This marked a significant step towards a greener future, and further strengthened EU innovators and innovation that are making a global impact. ? And not only that - this partnership opened doors to the entire North American market, helping to meet the growing demand for European clean energy solutions that are contributing to a more sustainable urban landscape, and is expected to generate more than $50K in EV Charging infrastructure projects in 2025 alone. ? ?? At EIT Global Outreach, we’re proud to spotlight a new success story -?Longenesis, Daugavpils Regional Hospital and Novartis Baltics have launched a groundbreaking pilot project aimed at transforming the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular diseases in Latvia. ?? ?? ? Longenesis first connected with Novartis during EIT Hub Israel and EIT Health InnoStars’ ChallengEIT programme, designed to test and grow innovative solutions in a real time environment. Through this programme, Longenesis worked closely with Novartis and gained access to experts, 1:1 mentoring, Novartis' vast pharmaceutical and healthcare network, and global growth opportunities. ???? ? Thirteen mature-level startups supported and invested in by EIT KICs, in fields such as #foodtech, #manufacturing, #climatetech and #urbanmobility, had the unique opportunity to engage with a distinguished business delegation headed by the Governor of Gunma Prefecture, Japan, at EIT Headquarters in Budapest and Paris earlier this week. These startups, all aiming to establish strategic partnerships, are eager to expand their impact within the Japanese and broader Asian markets. ? Gunma Prefecture, a leading industrial hub in Japan with a population of 1.9 million, is home to major corporations like #Subaru and #Fujitsu, providing an ideal gateway into Asia. The delegation emphasized its commitment to supporting European startups in entering these markets, offering extensive support and connections with Japanese industry leaders. ?
