What is an eMAR An eMAR is an electronic?medication administration record that keep track of administration and medication records for patients in an inpatient or outpatient setting. They are the electronic version of paper MAR charts. It is complimentary to an EHR, filling in any gaps that an EHR system currently doesn't not have for inpatient and outpatient facilities. The main benefits of an eMAR system are: - Reducing medication errors and improving patient safety - Patients receive?the right medications, at the right time, on a set schedule? - Save organizations time?in terms of administration?and record keeping for medications?
