The USEPA has issued a first-of-its-kind stormwater permit covering three major watersheds in the Greater Boston Area. The proposed regulations would impose major requirements to all covered facilities with over an acre of impervious surface across the Charles, Mystic, and Neponset River watersheds. Applications for EHS Support’s 2025?#SummerInternship?Program are now being accepted! We’re looking to build a multidisciplinary team of up to eight candidates from?#science?and?#engineering?backgrounds to support our 2025?#Internship?Project Assignment—a 10-week multidisciplinary research program (June 9 – Aug. 15, 2025) that will build on an ongoing regional-scale assessment of several major urban waterways in the United States. Interns will commit to a minimum of 40 hours of work per week to complete independent and collaboration-based assignments. The program involves predominantly remote work, but interns will also work together in-person during three, 1-week group sessions at our dedicated collaboration space in?Philadelphia.
