Since today is the last day of #BlackBusinessMonth, we'd like to extend our gratitude to The NORTH by Female Founder Collective for highlighting EGO Tequila. Last year, our founder had the privilege of participating in the Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth with My Happy Flo's founder, Necole Kane. There's exciting news we'll be sharing in the next few weeks, but first we noticed some new followers in the community, so we thought a re-introduction would make sense! EGO Tequila was founded by Rikki Kelly in July 2021. A native Texan, she launched the brand in her home state, with products now available in numerous stores, including Spec's. EGO Tequila has also been featured in several notable publications such as Essence, the Dallas Morning News, and The Spirits Business. A few facts about our Founder: 1. She’s a full-time auntie and cherishes every minute spent with her nieces and nephews. 2. She considers binge-watching TV and anime, hanging out with close friends, and spending time with family as her form of self-care. 3. If there aren’t any good options on the menu, her go-to drink is tequila and pineapple juice. She prefers to keep simple! Which fact surprised you the most? Cheers!
