We recently made Boston Business Journal’s 2024 list of “Largest Employers in Massachusetts”, coming in at #39. Thank you to our more than 3,400 team members statewide who work in our stores, culinary center, warehouse and store support center in Westborough, which also serves as home base for our product and petroleum truck drivers.

We were happy to support Westborough Connects – an organization that builds connections within the community of Westborough, home to our headquarters – at their recent Pickleball Tournament. The first Kwik Shop opened its doors in 1960 in Hutchinson, Kansas. By the end of the decade, the convenience store chain had expanded into two more states – Nebraska, and Iowa. Protein-filled items such as meat and cheese snacks, protein bars and shakes, and nuts are most popular. Last week we held our Summer Social at EG America’s headquarters – it was a beautiful day complete with food trucks, yard games and giveaways. A few of our company mascots even made a special appearance!

Throughout the month of July, EG America and our guests visiting our stores raised $645,000 for the American Cancer Society through our nationwide instore fundraiser! The American Red Cross let us know that the funds raised through our recent in-store fundraiser provided important resources to residents impacted by Hurricane Debby. ? 30 Emergency Response Vehicles, 18 tractor trailers of relief supplies, and over 100,000 shelf-stable meals were deployed ? Over 2,400 overnight stays have been provided with partners in response to Hurricane Debby ?
