As the EFI Foundation team closed out CERAWeek 2025, Executive Vice President Alex Kizer took part in an insightful discussion centered on creating market demand for hydrogen. Kizer was joined by Naomi Boness, Ph.D. of Stanford University, Kate Macfarlane of Linde, and?Brian Murphy of S&P Global. During the session Kizer stated, “There is significant interest in buying this lower carbon hydrogen product across the country.” He went on to explain that a critical next step would be ensuring that there are consistent tax credits in place and finding pathways to stable pricing.
