NEW IPMVP QUALIFIED COMPANY PROGRAM ? The Efficiency Valuation Organization (EVO) is pleased to announce the establishment of a new program for companies and consultants offering measurement and verification (M&V) services. ? This new #IPMVP Company Qualification Program authorizes M&V service providers to use the IPMVP trademark under specific conditions, such as respecting the EVO Code of Conduct and accepting a Statement of Compliance. A special badge has been designed and will be provided by EVO and IPMVP to qualified companies. ? The program also recognizes M&V professionals trained and certified to the IPMVP by EVO-approved instructors and certified by EVO, the PMVA, and the PMVE. ? The program aims to help the industry, governments, and other institutions that rely on the IPMVP in their programs, regulations, and legislation to recognize M&V service Providers that adhere to the IPMVP. ? NEW IPMVP APPLICATION GUIDE ? #EVO is pleased to announce the release of a new #IPMVP application guide: M&V and Performance Contracting for Facility Owners. This document is part of a series of application guides developed as companion guides to the International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP?). ? This IPMVP application guide provides measurement and verification (M&V) information to the facility owner who wants to implement an energy performance contract (EPC) involving guaranteed savings by an energy services company (ESCO). ? It focuses on energy efficiency measurement and verification (M&V) issues that may arise in the elaboration and execution of an energy performance contract (EPC). ? The IPMVP Energy Performance Contracting Sub-Committee developed this document under the direction of Christian Lemieux in cooperation with Phil Combs, Scott Noyes, Scott Judson, and Christophe Rodriguez. ? EVO AND TEC DE MONTERREY SIGN AN MOU FOR IPMVP TRAINING ? The Efficiency Valuation Organization (EVO) is pleased to announce that it has signed an MOU to share its International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP) training material with Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (TEC). ? EVO material will be incorporated in TEC’s Elective E5040 Medición y verificación course, which is offered within the MER – Maestría en Administración de la Energía y sus Fuentes Renovables program. This advanced course intends the student to know and apply concepts of measurement and verification of energy savings based on the IPMVP. At the end of this course, students will have the competencies to identify the elements of an M&V process based on the IPMVP and prepare an IPMVP adherent M&V Plan. ? Students who take and pass the E5040 course will have the opportunity to write EVO’s Performance Measurement and Verification Analyst (IPMVP-PMVA) certification exam. This bridges industry and academic efforts to provide students with the best tools to tackle the critical challenges of energy efficiency and renewable projects. ?
