Cod Season is underway! We have fresh Cod available as weather permits from our Cook inlet facilities and freezing IQF fillets for sale or further processing. ? Fresh fillets will be available throughout January, but the peak of the season is February and March. This is due to greater vessel participation. Despite that, weekly volumes in January are large enough to support ad business. ? Historically the first week of February through the first week of April are the heaviest production periods. ? Almost all our vessels are fishing within a 24-hour window, harvest to dock. ? Because of this and close access to the Anchorage airport daily shipments of fresh fillets are usually available.
