Pi Day is a reminder that even the most fundamental math shapes the systems we design and we couldn’t do what we do without it! Here’s a love poem to Pi written by our very own, Jeremy Smith: A circle's edge, a length you crave, Divided by its width, a number brave! Three point one four, and then it goes, you see, A digit flood, eternally quite free. No end in sight, it mocks our feeble mind, Like counting sheep, but sheep you'll never find. Thank you Pi for always being there for us! #PiDay #EngineeringByTheNumbers #BetterBeingsBetterBuildingsBetterBusiness #EEACE #MEPegineering

If you guessed Todd Schmitt, CEO and Morgan Stinson, COO for our final baby photos, you guessed right! From their early days as future problem solvers and Lego building to leading the way here at EEA, we are thankful for their passion for engineering that has shaped not only their careers but also the success of our organization. And we can’t forget our CTO, Jeremy Smith, who was also most certainly born to be an engineer. Have you met that guy? No one has ever seen the smartest man in the world and Jeremy Smith in the same room together, just saying. We couldn’t imagine EEA without them and all of our wonderful engineers! Thanks for playing along and celebrating #EngineersWeek with us. #EEACE #BornToBeAnEngineer

For our final #EngineersWeek feature, we’re spotlighting two individuals who were definitely born to be engineers! Sure, they could have taken a different path—but where would EEA be without them? Can you guess who these future engineers grew up to be? Drop your best guesses below! #EEACE #BornToBeAnEngineer

Today’s #EngineersWeek feature is Kelsey Brucks, PE. Kelsey is a Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in MEP system design and project management, leading her team on complex projects in multiple regions. Kelsey recently began taking piano lessons after a 20-year break and can almost play a simplified version of Pachelbel’s Canon—a true testament to her dedication to continuous learning. With all these musicians at EEA, there may be a talent show in our future! #EEACE #BornToBeAnEngineer

Our next #EngineersWeek feature takes us to our Albuquerque office with Colton Alexander! When Colton was just 3 years old, he found a screwdriver and took apart the family VCR. That’s when his parents knew engineering was in his future! Fast forward to today, and he’s a seasoned Project Manager & Electrical Engineer. Safe to say, he's come a long way from dismantling VCRs! #EEACE #BornToBeAnEngineer

Our next #EngineersWeek feature was Born to Be an Engineer… Eventually! Not all engineers start out knowing their path—just ask Ricardo Arana! It wasn’t until a senior year engineering class in high school that he realized his passion for problem solving. Now, as a Mechanical Engineer in Training (EIT) here at EEA, he's specializing in industrial, plumbing, and mechanical design, bringing his innovative solutions to every project. Fun fact: Before designing systems, Ricardo played tuba and sousaphone in school. And if engineering doesn’t work out… there's always a career in Mario Kart domination. He's taking on challengers! #EEACE #BornToBeAnEngineer
