Rawl Farm Exhibit is taking shape with fresh new floors and custom-made farm features starting to appear. In just a few weeks, our dedicated team has made incredible progress, transforming this space into an interactive learning hub. Yesterday, we had the honor of hosting community members, legislators, and board members for our first Legislative Luncheon in the Canal Room! While we often fill our event spaces with workshops and celebrations, it was exciting to gather together for a meaningful conversation about EdVenture’s impact across South Carolina. Celebrating Strength and Courage EdVenture Children’s Museum and Prisma Health Children's Hospital, are proud to offer the Celebration Circle, an exhibit honoring young patients who bravely face serious chronic health conditions. This special space recognizes their resilience, their journey through treatment, and the unwavering support of their loved ones and healthcare teams. In September, the Celebration Circle highlighted National Childhood Cancer Month and Sickle Cell Disease Awareness Month. The exhibit consists of: Bell-ringing Nook: A private and touching space where pediatric patients can ring the bell, marking a significant moment in their treatment journey. If a child cannot reach the bell, they can push a button to sound it remotely. The space is illuminated by color-changing lights, representing different childhood diseases. Memory Wall: Families can leave a lasting tribute by inscribing magnetic plaques that celebrate each child’s unique journey, honoring their strength and the care teams who support them. After the ceremony, families are invited to enjoy time at EdVenture! Last Friday, we had the pleasure of celebrating our annual Countdown to Kindergarten event, and it was a hit! So many of our wonderful community partners showed up with smiles, laughter, and positive energy to wish our budding kindergartners well. Children got a chance to meet EdVenture Firefly, practice walking through a cafeteria line, experience getting on a bus, participate in a classroom, and even have dental checkups!
