??We enjoyed collaborating with other leaders and organizations in the PSS Federal Work-Study Working Group to create this Federal Work Study Toolkit with the Partnership for Student Success. ??This spring, 57% of our tutors are funded through their university’s Federal Work-Study program. ??EduTutorVA is a qualified off-campus employer with four of fourteen of our universities, with more coming next fall! ???The Accelerate State of High Dosage Tutoring 2025 Annual Convening in Washington, DC gathered our nation’s leading researchers, practitioners, and policy makers to share outcomes, visit lawmakers, and strategize scaling tutoring efforts for our nation’s most affected students. ??The national NAEP data should be cause for a “five alarm fire” ??, especially for our country’s lowest performing students. The gap between the highest achieving and lowest achieving students continues to widen. ??Consistent, targeted, high-impact tutoring is the proven, research-backed solution to help students. ??So many learnings about state policy solutions to move the needle at scale. ??????And: effective virtual high-impact (not drop-in) tutoring now has a solid research base. ??We are proud of our growing program at EduTutorVA, which we have brought to scale at the “right rate” to maintain strong outcomes for kids. ?We are inspired to keep doing the work, alongside so many other leaders, like Catherine Peretti at CityTutor DC, Janet Wilson, Ph.D. at Littera Education… and so many more! #StateofHDT2025 ??Thank you to Accelerate and ProvenTutoring for hosting. ??Thank you to our school partners at Fairfax County Public Schools , Alexandria City Public Schools , Arlington Public Schools , Prince William County Public Schools , Richmond Public Schools for believing in this important work!
