There are a lot of reasons why more students are enrolled in special education. Regardless of the cause, the reality is that more and more kids on IEPs are in schools and districts. They must choose whether to teach “these kids” or “those kids.” That’s absurd, especially given the makeup of today’s general education classrooms.
