We kicked off the RODEOHOUSTON season in true Texas style at the World’s Championship BBQ Cookoff Contest, celebrating with our amazing partners at the CenterPoint Energy tent! Trina Silva, Director of the Education Foundation of Harris County (EFHC), attended the Goose Creek CISD Education Foundation's 2025 Students' Choice Awards and dinner, celebrating 15 outstanding educators and the graduating seniors who nominated them. This event highlights the profound impact teachers have on their students' educational journeys. EFHC proudly supports Goose Creek CISD, awarding $5,000 in scholarships to seniors in 2024 and providing over a dozen educators with essential classroom resources through the Tools For Teachers program. In 2024, EFHC also granted $10,000 for GCCISD’s inaugural Día del Ni?o event, promoting literacy and inclusion for bilingual students and families facing language barriers.
