EdPrepLab recently hosted a Roundtable Reception at the AACTE (American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education) Annual Meeting in Long Beach, CA. Attendees shared their AACTE presentations and discussed projects such as apprenticeships, learning models, and program designs. The event provided an excellent opportunity to listen, learn, and connect with colleagues in teacher preparation. Thank you to everyone who joined us for an insightful and engaging evening.

On March 3rd, EdPrepLab hosted a Syllabus Workshop and Practitioner Inquiry Space, bringing together educators from across its network to discuss Science of Learning and Development aligned teacher and leader preparation. Participants shared syllabi, assignments, and programmatic features, receiving feedback in small group consultations. This collaborative space generated meaningful connections and inquiry, supporting faculty in strengthening their programs. Thank you to all who participated.

The Fifth Annual EdPrepLab Policy Summit, Equipping Educators for Redesigned Schools: Scaling Effective Preparation Models in a Post-ESSER World, was held on February 13, 2025. The summit brought together a panel of education experts to explore ways to scale innovative partnerships and align systems to address current educational needs. Linda Darling-Hammond gave a keynote speech that was followed by a panel of four education stakeholders deeply committed to promoting healthy, safe classroom environments. EdPrepLab’s World Cafe on February 12, 2025 brought together educational leaders from around the world to explore how strong partnerships and professional communities support teacher preparation. Attendees learned from a moderated discussion among panelists and then participated in small group discussions, exchanging ideas on reciprocal relationships, social-emotional learning, and inclusive practices that empower both pre- and in-service teachers.
