While parts of Western North Carolina continue to face hardships resulting from the unprecedented impacts from Hurricane Helene, the recovery is in full force. The resilience shown by the communities in that region of the state is nothing short of inspiring. AllInNC.com #AllInNC

Honored to have been representing the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC) as panelist at today's thought-provoking discussion on collaborative pathways for multimodal efforts, organized by AUVSI North Carolina! ?? It was a privilege to share insights alongside fellow industry leaders?from Suzanne Murtha at AECOM, Robert Tanner at Parallax Advanced Research, and Basil Yap at Aero X Ventures. The group highlighted the incredible potential when government, private sector and academia work together. Key takeaway: Breaking down silos between different modes of transportation isn't just about technology – it's about fostering partnerships that drive innovation and economic growth in #NorthCarolina, #USA and #Global. Thank you to my fellow panelists for the engaging dialogue and to AUVSI-NC for bringing together this dynamic forum. The discussions truly showcased the innovative spirit driving the global advanced mobility future. Looking forward to continuing these important conversations and turning ideas into action. Together, we're shaping the future of #AdvancedMobility #Innovation #NorthCarolina #FutureOfTransport #Collaboration Shout out to Darshan "Dash" Divakaran for organizing a terrific panel and event!!

Piedmont Triad Partnership’s Carolina Core Regional Economic Development Director — 26+ years in regional/local economic development in central North Carolina
NC Carolina Core economic developers/local government officials from Cumberland, Moore, Montgomery, and Alamance counties and from the Piedmont Triad Partnership hosted 10 members of the team from Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC). As can be seen in the photo, the lunch meeting took place at BHAWK Distillery (Brad Halling American Whiskey Ko.) in Town of Southern Pines, NC -- an impressive venue with great food and drink. The session allowed four of our Carolina Core communities to talk about their assets and for EDPNC folks to talk about trends and current client activity. Everyone was engaged and interested in learning more from one another. In the photo are: (sitting, left to right) Savannah Walker, Stephanie Blair, Kimley Blanks, Abbie Jordan, and Dylan Finch of EDPNC / (standing, l-r) Jennifer Holcomb of EDPNC; Natalie Dean Hawkins, PMP of Moore County Economic Development Partnership; County Manager Frankie Maness of Montgomery County, NC; Assistant City Manager Rachel Kelly, ICMA-CM and Water Resources Director Bob Patterson of City of Burlington, NC; Jonathan Brewster and Toney Benson, CEcD of EDPNC; Brittany Tschida of Fayetteville Cumberland Economic Development Corporation; Loren Hill of Piedmont Triad Partnership; and Solange Tricanowicz of EDPNC. #MoreInTheCore, #CarolinaCore, #ncCarolinaCore
