Massive gear getting some work done at High Tech wire over in Ohio! 2800lb part and needed some help to even fit on our HB1200 EDM table. Luckily the Moly Cut EDM machines still run clean and efficient even with the splash shield down!

Check out this monster! HB1200XL recently installed at Hi-Tech Wire in St. Henry Ohio. Hi-Tech has been in business since 1987.?They have seven other EDM Machines.?This includes multiple U6 Makino Wire Machines, 2 Charmilles, 3 HB Moly Cut wires and a CNC Sinker EDM Machine and a CNC Hole Popper. The addition of the HB1200XL gives Hi-Tech wire one of the largest wire EDM platforms in North America! 1200mm X, 900mmY, and a 1200mmZ axis. These massive travels paired with the open work table lay out of the HB machine gives this machine some incredible capabilities. This wire will noticeably increase cutting performance without causing dirty build-up or threading issues. Available in multiple spool sizes and diameters.
