This state-of-the-art, 36,000-square-foot facility is a multipurpose venue for education, workforce development, cultural activities, and community events. Through a collaborative effort with the City of Edinburg, both entities contributed $7 million each, making this $14 million project a true testament to partnership and progress. Located at 315 W. McIntyre St., the ACE Center is more than a building—it’s a key asset for our residents and businesses, supporting economic growth, enhancing quality of life, and reflecting our commitment to excellence in developing Edinburg as a thriving, forward-thinking city. #edinburgedc #exploreedinburg #edinburgtx

Today, we say farewell to Otto Neumann, our LEAD intern! ?? Over the past eight weeks, Otto has been a valued part of our team—joining project meetings and board meetings, helping develop and refine programs and policies, assisting project managers, and visiting FLIP Program businesses. One highlight was his visit to South Texas Health System (STHS), where he got to experience operating the Da Vinci Robot firsthand ??. This incredible opportunity came from the LEAD Internship Initiative Expansion, a program we’re proud to support in collaboration with Workforce Solutions, RGV Focus, and UTRGV’s Career Center. Together, we’re working to bridge the gap between education and careers by providing students with meaningful, paid work experiences ??. Edinburg EDC contributed $20,000 towards this initiative, helping fund up to 23 internship positions. Thanks to these partnerships, students like Otto gain valuable real-world experience, and local employers benefit from a talented and motivated young workforce.
